Getting Ready

I’m not afraid to admit, I love shooting weddings!  It’s a good thing too, because they make up the bulk of my work.  I’ve separated my year in review into the distinctly different segments of the day.  The first part of the day can be the most important for a photographer.  When we first arrive, the bride is just getting ready.  The jitters often abound!  Tension can be high and the photographer plays a very special role.  We can either add to the tension of the day or work to lighten the load.  I always try to make my clients comfortable the moment I arrive.  This sets the tone for the rest of my work.  The details and moments I capture while the bride gets ready are among my favorite all day.
