Tara + Brian’s Plum Island Wedding

Working with Tara & Brian felt like working with good friends. They were fun, easy and personable…just like their wedding. Tara and Brian chose to be married on beautiful Plum Island in a small hall catered by the Plum Island Grille. It was beachy, relaxed and absolutely elegant all at the same time. I loved how the lanterns made the front of the hall sparkle and the lovely DIY touches (like the chalk board seating boards) made everything feel comfortable. OK, and can we talk about Tara’s necklace??? Total bling envy girl!

Amanda & Craig’s Wedding at the Ruins at Gibbet Hill

Amanda & Craig’s ceremony was a photographer’s dream! They were married at the Ruins at Gibbet Hill. Perhaps you’re familiar with the Barn at Gibbet Hill? The ruins are located at the top of the hill. The property hosts a limited number of events at the top of the hill. Guests (and photographers) are transported by SUV and enjoy a breathtaking backdrop and amazing views! The only thing more spectacular than the views was the tremendous outpouring of love from friends and family. Amanda and Craig are truly blessed! Oh, and they had the BEST BAND EVER! To top it all off, I got to work with my hubby and Kahootz!

Danielle & Chris’ Belle Mer Wedding

It was a special treat to spend the entire weekend with Danielle and Chris. They chose two very different but equally as lovely locations in Newport for their celebrations. We started the weekend with the rehearsal dinner in the middle of such beauty at Greenvale Vineyards. The only thing that could top that was being on the water at Belle Mer. It was a stunning and special celebration!

Gabrielle & Brian’s Seaside Wedding

I’m always honored when friends, family and neighbors trust me with the precious memories. Brie lives across the street and I’m so fond of her family! I was touched to be asked to be a part of their special day. And let’s face it, I was thrilled with the commute. Brie & Brian’s wedding was filled with lovely DIY touches and was set against the backdrop of our beautiful, oceanfront hometown of Winthrop. I loved shooting it!

Samantha & Mike’s Seaport Boston Wedding

Photographers can often tell how a day is going to go the second the enter the scene. I knew Mike & Samantha’s wedding was going to be a blast the moment I stepped into her bridal suite. Her bridesmaids (all 9 of them!) were buzzing around the room while Sam giggled and chatted with family. It was lovely. And it was obvious how important these friends and family were to Sam & Mike. Not only was their wedding party 18 people strong, but they each had three best men & three maids of honor! I could tell they planned their entire day around what would make their loved ones comfortable and happy. Which in turn, made them comfortable and happy. It was fantastic to capture!

Lindsey & Keith’s Summer Wedding at Endicott Estate

Lindsey & Keith had the quintessential New England summer wedding. From the classic look of the Endicott Estate to the beautiful peaked tent set up on the lawn next to the mansion. It was a warm evening. But that didn’t stop her guests from creating a wild dance party that night. It was a great night!

Lauren & Chris’ Boston Harbor Hotel Wedding

Lauren and Chris have a great story a la “When Harry Met Sally”. They went to school together for four years at James Madison College but never met. They met when Lauren came to Boston for work. But Lauren & Chris certainly act like they’ve known each other that long! They’re so easy together, it must be meant to be. It was lovely photographing their celebration at Boston Harbor Hotel.

Karen & Scott’s Red, White & Blue Wedding

The key to pulling off a beautiful themed wedding is subtlety. Karen & Scott planned their Independence Day wedding in perfect style! There were lovely red, white and blue touches throughout the day without taking over the entire room. Their first dance “Take My Breath Away” by Berlin (that’s right, from Top Gun) was a perfect nod to Scott’s Navy background. Scott and his groomsmen even pulled off a fabulous (if not entirely in tune) rendition of “You’ve Lost that Loving Feeling.” It was a blast! Bride’s and groom’s to be, take some notes from this fun and classy themed wedding!

Stephanie & Brian’s Andover Wedding

When I first spoke with Stephanie about her wedding, she said she wanted an “easy, relaxed day.” No drama for this bride! And that’s exactly what she got. But it had nothing to do with me. Stephanie and Brian are just that…easy and relaxed. They were so sweet to each other and so fun! It was a beautiful day filled with family and friends celebrated by the light of a beautiful super moon.

Teddy & Sean’s Seaport Boston Wedding

I had the pleasure of working with Sean’s wonderful mom Debbie for all their wedding plans. Debbie obviously has great taste as she chose me as her photographer (he he he!) and my beloved Seaport as the property. It was obvious how excited Debbie was for her son and future daughter-in-law and how she wanted everything to be just perfect for them. But there is always an element of surprise when walking into a situation where you haven’t met your clients. And what a lovely surprise! From the second I walked into Teddy’s wedding suite, I felt welcome and comfortable. It’s obvious, Teddy is a beauty, which never hurts! But more importantly, Teddy and Sean were so comfortable with each other and so happy together. Some of Teddy’s family also flew in from overseas, which made for even more of a celebration. I was so honored to be a part of their special day.
