Meredith + Bryce’s Boston Seaport Wedding

During his toast, one of the best men at Meredith and Bryce’s wedding said, “Everything they touch turns to gold.” Well if their wedding day was any example, it certainly does! Meredith and Bryce had an absolutely golden day! We can start the day with perfect weather. Meredith and Bryce made it to the beautiful Cathedral of the Holy Cross without a moment of stress. The ceremony was splendid. We continued on to the Harbor Walk where the couple was able to incorporate their love of the water and the city. And on to the fabulous Seaport World Trade Center where the celebration was simply electric! Oh, and let’s not forget the surprise fireworks at the end of the evening! I can’t remember a single hitch. Meredith and Bryce, I know your lives together will be as perfect as your wedding day was!

Andrea + Dan’s Seaside Gloucester Wedding

Adorable alert! My favorite moment from Andrea and Dan’s wedding was walking out to the pier to do some dusk photos. Out of nowhere, Dan announces, “Nikki, I think this is the happiest I’ve ever been!” I just about melted right there! Andrea and Dan are such a lovely couple. They’re funny, interesting, kind and a blast to be around! They had a beautiful ocean side wedding at Cruiseport in Gloucester. The location is wonderful as it’s super close to one of my favorite beaches for photos. And we got a glorious day! Congratulations Andrea and Dan. Thanks for letting me tag along on your wedding day!

Amy + Jason’s Andover Country Club Wedding

Fun. That’s the first word that comes to mind when I think of Amy and Jason! From the wedding party to both extended families, at every turn someone was making someone else laugh. Of course, I’m I’ve become accustomed to this wonderful atmosphere! I had four former clients in the room and each shoot was a fun as the last. I’m totally spoiled by all of you! Amy and Jason, thank you for allowing me to capture your love and laughter! It was an honor to be a part of your day!

Britt’s Surprise Birthday, the All White Celebration

Britt and Kevin are a very special couple to me! I was honored to photograph their gorgeous Newport wedding in 2009. Then I was thrilled to be called to photograph their first baby this winter. This weekend, I was there to capture Britt’s surprise birthday celebration. Kevin pulled out all the stops for Britt! It was a fabulous day (husbands everywhere, prepare to have the birthday bar raised)! We started at the GTO spa on Newbury Street in Boston where Britt spent the entire day being pampered including hair and makeup at the end. Kevin had three white dresses ready for Britt to choose for the party. We had a quick mini-session on the rooftop of the spa and it was off to the party at the Griffin Museum of Photography! Kevin hired event coordinator Donna Kim (who also did the wedding…yes the band was getting back together!) to create an all white party. Guests arrived in their finest white outfits to dine and dance all evening. It was beautiful!

Abbie + Alex’s Fabulous Boston Wedding

Abbie and Alex are one of the most fun couples I’ve ever worked with! They had a stunning wedding in the heart of Boston. We starting at the utterly cool Revere Hotel where we staged their first look on the rooftop overlooking the city. After the ceremony guests were invited to celebrate at a fabulous restaurant a few blocks away called Post 390. It was a non-traditional space, and so fun for a wedding. Guests listened to some truly heartfelt speeches and dined bistro style. Through it all Abbie and Alex just glowed. I loved watching them together!

Kristina + Sean’s Oceanside Wedding at Wentworth by the Sea

Kristina and Sean’s wedding was a party from the first moment I saw them! Kristina’s smile was completely plastered on her face. We tried to do some sassy, serious images at one point…no way… she couldn’t stop smiling! And Sean was the same, except for the moment he fought back tears when Kristina walked down the aisle. The celebration started long before we reached the gorgeous Wentworth by the Sea with a rocking trolley ride. I’ll never listen to The Who again without thinking of that trolley ride. It was a fantastic day!

Julie + Andrew’s Black Rock Country Club Wedding

Julie and Andrew had a picture perfect Sunday afternoon Spring wedding. They were married in front of an intimate group of friends and celebrated the occasion at the lovely Black Rock Country Club. Their simple color palate of green and shades of white said so much about their easy personalities. I could tell they didn’t love being the center of attention. But somehow, being around friends and family and, more importantly, being next to each other made them more comfortable. They were lovely to watch together.

Natalie + James’ Simple and Elegant Tent Wedding

Natalie and James’ wedding was the perfect picture of simple elegance. From the ceremony under the arch of baby’s breath and vines (made by the bride, no less) to the mason jars with lace and candles adorning the tables, everything was gorgeous and nothing was overdone. The ceremony and reception took place at the Connors Center which is a total hidden gem in Dover, MA. The outdoor grounds are breathtaking and guests were truly allowed to enjoy the outdoor experience as they spent the evening looking at the night sky through the clear top tent. I was honored to be working with a beloved colleague Paula Marrero of Marrero Events on this beautiful wedding!

Corie + Matt’s Sapphire Estate Wedding

How could you not smile surrounded by all of that vibrant color! Corie and Matt’s wedding reflected their own bright and colorful personalities. They are such a lovely couple! And together, they were even more fun and light. They had a perfect day at the Sapphire Estate complete with a beautiful sunset. Check out how Corie coordinated her fabulous colorful bridesmaid’s dresses with matching bouquets. So adorable!

Lora + Ryan’s Rustic Spring Wedding

Lora and Ryan’s first look is possibly my favorite first look ever! Just look at the excitement in both of their faces. It’s absolutely priceless. They were married on a perfect Spring Day at the Common Man Inn and Restaurant in New Hampshire. The rustic town made some fun and funky images. And their excitement lasted through the celebration where every look brought a smile to their faces. It was a lovely day and I was so happy to capture that fun.
