Lisa and Dave’s wedding was the type of day photographer’s dream about with a gorgeous setting and a totally low maintenance couple. The wedding was set on Thompson’s Island, one of the Boston Harbor Islands. I was able to take an earlier ferry to capture Lisa dressing and a great first look. But not before totally pulling one over on Dave with a fake first look (substituting one of Lisa’s girlfriends). The look on Dave’s face was priceless! Guests took the next ferry over and had some time to relax on the island prior to the ceremony while Lisa and Dave signed their ketubah, the Jewish marriage contract. The ceremony was held under the shade of two beautiful trees right on the beach. During the cocktail hour, guests enjoy lawn games and the gorgeous setting sun over the Boston city skyline. After some truly heartfelt toasts (the only real formalities of the evening) was a delicious lobster dinner and dancing in the island’s pavilion.
